The use of guns in the United States has been debated over a long time. Even though the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States gives the right to the people to keep and bear Arms the interpretation of that right has changed over time. The right to keep a gun that can be used for your own safety and security is not a bad thing. On the other hand, a lot of innocent people have died because of America gun ownership and the mass marketing of the gun industry. The founding fathers were talking about guns like a toll that every farmer and frontiersman needed for survival and work.
Now there are more guns than people in the U.S. The manufacture, import and export of guns by U.S. gunmakers has been dramatically increasing over time. Therefore, gun violence in the United States results in thousands of accidental as well as intentional deaths and injuries annually. There are 357 million guns in america and this is an amount that is not including tht illegal guns that enter and exit the country.

The right of keeping a gun that can be use for your own safety and security is a reasonable right to protect, but people’s greed and fear with the mass marketing and purchasing of all kinds of assault weapons can be dangerous at the same time. In most accidental shootings the people who end up dying are the unarmed people or often innocent children. These people die without anything to protect their life and they die because of guns which are supposedly for our protection.
I grew up in a country that has a lot of guns and delinquency with it. I remember one day, a car stopped by my school and the people on board the car started to shoot some of the students, 3 people died in front of my eyes. Every time I remember it, I feel sad because no body could do anything about it. Guns are prohibited in my country even though most of the people have one for their own self protection. Therefor I agree with the second amendment of the constitution of the United States of America but it should be “well regulated” both here and around the world.
