Michelle Obama helped a group of Pakistanis girls recently. She donated money for schools. She donated $70 millions to help educate them. The first lady welcomed one of the girls to the White House with the traditional Muslim greeting “asalaam alaikum,” or “peace be with you.” The first lady Michelle Obama said that the money will help this group of girls to become the next group of doctors.

Obama was with the Pakistani prime minister’s wife, Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif. His daughter,Maryam Nawaz Sharif was also there.

Maryam said that “Michelle Obama has inspired millions of girls around the world”. She also said that Obama’s daughters could not have be better role models.

The Muslim country also promised that there will be more females going to school and gaining career opportunities. Pakistan will spend more money in education. From this donation; 200,000 adolescent girls in Pakistan will be benefited.

This is showing the good things that our government is doing on an international level. They are not just helping this country but they are also helping those who are in need around the world. These are the  kind of people who we want to see in the government. The fact that other people see Obama’s daughter as a role model must mean a lot to them; this means that she is not just doing a great job helping others but this also means that she is doing a great job raising her daughters.
