This guy was fishing in Maui on Monday morning and his foot was off the boat in the water and this shark went and attacked him, this is the 13th shark attack in 2013 but 8 out of the 13 have been in Maui. His friend with him was about 500 feet away and paddled to his friend who was getting attacked to go try to save him, but unfortunately he died. I care about this is because people/citizens need to be aware of these things! Also I went to Maui and I’m happy I saw this so if I go back again I will be more careful on where I kayak.
