You can only determine a car’s real speed based on its acceleration and its top speed. However, there is a big difference between the two. The top speeds means the fastest speed the car can reach. The acceleration is how fast a car can speed up, from 0-60 mph for example. So what does it mean to be fast, is it top speed or acceleration? Although a car may have a high top speed, based on how fast or slow its acceleration is it will take longer to reach its max. For an example the Dodge Charger Hellcat’s top speed is 204 mph and its acceleration from 0-60 mph is 2.9 seconds. In comparison, the Ferrari has a top speed of 199 mph but an acceleration of 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds. Which one is fastest? Well it depends on if you want a fast acceleration or a fast top speed. To limit all the possibilities, I choose an experts list of top 10 fastest cars to analyze more closely.

Even though the car with the fastest speed doesn’t have an extremely fast acceleration, i overall think that the Lamborghini Aventador SV is the fastest. What do you think ?
