Mountain View HS is hosting a mentor social right before winter break on December 15th, 2023. The potluck will be filled with variety of foods from different cultures/nationalities that students, teachers, and staff wish to share with the MVHS family. The Winter Social will be held in the gym and different food stations will be set up along the walls.
The Student Council is hosting a White Elephant Gift Exchange along with the potluck. The gift exchange is a good opportunity for those who participate to interact and have a joyful time before everyone goes off into the two week break.
Through the last week before winter break, Ms. Culik wanted to create a community recycling station with donating items such as clothing pieces and toys for the school to look at and choose items they want for free.
Want to make the best of the holiday for a good cause?
Spare some time (maybe just one day) to clean out your closets and bring in clothes you don’t need/want back for Clothing Swap in the new year. The Clothing Swap will continue after the holiday. We are looking forward to having new inventories as the shop at the teacher’s workroom has been successfully distributing clothes away. We are very happy that most of the clothes find new owners. We will do so for more clothing that needs a new home.

In the final week at Mt. View Students engaged in FAMILY. LOVE, RESPECT cultivating the GENEROSITY of the season that shines a light in the darkness of what can sometimes be a cold and lonely time. I had a wonderful time celebrating with the Mountain View staff Thursday, there was so much positive energy!
Love the sweaters guys – full of holiday fun and cheer, not just today but throughout the year!
The most interesting thing was going to the theater, I loved how they acted and the music they sang and it was very nice to watch.
I liked going to the theater more because I got to know another place and we passed in front of the White House and the Capitol and the play was very beautiful
