Music has been an essential part of my life ever since I had memory. It occupies the brain like nothing else. It has occupied the brains of billions of people throughout centuries. Music brings people together and can tear them apart. Music is powerful and can strengthen neuronal connections inside the brain.
Music is very influential on the subconscious mind. For example, if two brothers listen to music and one listens to country music and one listens to rap music, they will dress and act differently from each other.
Music is often used as a coping mechanism in today’s society. It fulfills a need, it is an amazing distraction. No matter what someone goes through in their life, driving or walking while listening to their favorite song will make them feel better.
Music amplifies emotions and experiences, but like anything else that boosts dopamine people want more and more out of it. Many find that listening while under the influence gives that maximum feeling they were looking for while listening sober.
Music also amplifies emotions during a film. Imagine you were watching a horror movie and you hear happy, joyful music, you would be less scared. On the flip side if you watch a horror movie and there is a loud, frightening piano and drum beat you will feel a lot more scared.
A song that is Aspecial to me is called ‘Black Beatles’ by Rae Shrummard. This song was so popular and sounded so good that it peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. It is special because I often listened to it at fun moments in my life and in general, better times during my life. The artist, Rae Shrummard; his music is often played at parties and celebrations. His music is usually very upbeat and taps into enthusiastic feelings and emotions.
My classmate wanted to add their thoughts on music,
music for the people

Music is a good way to keep students going. I am a student who believes that the music that plays during the passing period is a big help especially when you’re having a bad day . Mt. View plays motivational music and music from around the world . I enjoy listening to music from other places because it’s a good way to learn new languages . I also like how you get to choose what you like. Sometimes we need to stay patient because our chosen song is not played immediately. Our program is called “Music for People”. Music will always be a way of expressing and receiving different cultures. It is a cultural language.
