On 9/11 three major American rights were violated life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 9/11 was a very tragic day in American history, whose impact will forever be felt and remembered by Americans. On this day thousands of innocent lives were lost due to a viscous act of terrorism. Four American airplanes were hijacked by Al Qaeda terrorist. The terrorist tried to force crash the airplanes into to the White House in Washington, DC. The terrorist ended up crashing two airplanes into the Twin Towers in New York City The Pentagon in Arlington,VA. The last airplane was unsuccessful because it was headed towards the white house but the passengers overpowered the terrorist and crashed the plane into a field in Pennsylvania.
9/11 is an important day in history to recognize because servicemen and women, workers, firefighters, parents, brothers sisters , grandparents,, moms and dads were killed. We honor these courageous Americans by giving them a moment of silence everyday after the pledge of allegiance, spreading awareness and respecting the American culture by valuing our rights and privileges as Americans.
The attack on 9/11 brought a new sense of loyalty by Americans. 9/11 changed the lives of all Americans because now airports, schools, and other public places are under tighter security. A lot of safety precautions have been reevaluated to ensure the safety of Americans.9/11 was very tragic time in American history and as an American I am grateful for my servicemen and women who risk there lives for this beautiful country; may god bless there families and offer them protection in there duties.

I didn’t know that we do the 30 minutes of silence because of what happened on this day, on September 11 people have no idea how much they were going to lose because of a terrorist attack when they were no even involved in the war.
