This timeline \ Within three panels it shows our relationship with Europe over the span of 20 years. Starting at the 1920’s we’re shown the causes and effects of the great depression as it was focused on an idea of socialism.
PANEL 1 = 1920s in the wake of World War 1
PANEL II = 1930s during the Great Depression
PANEL III = late 1930s amd early 1940s as World War II begins.
What do you think is symbolized in each of these panels? Can you name some key terms associated with the images?

I like how you described each panel with a main point.

I think it shows how things change and stay the same. History may not REPEAT but it RHYMES. Things happen in clycles.

the first pannel shows the U.S. handing europe money to help them and pay for the war. the second payment is during the great deppression and the U.S. is trying to get the money backffrom them. the last one is europe asking for more money but the U.S. refuses to give them anything.
