This action packed thriller will have not wanting to put it down and wanting more. Snow Wolf is a Cold War adventure that brings the mystery of the tyrannical madman, Joseph Stalin, leader of the old Soviet Union death to light. Karl Branigan, a leading CIA Officer, gives Jake Massey, a CIA agent, the task to assassinate the crazed Stalin before the completion of the U.S.S.R.’s hydrogen bomb program. Massey is given carte blanche on the mission. He is given to operatives Alex Slanski, a Russian born now CIA assassin; and Anna Khorev a defector from a Russian gulag. The story is told in many perspectives including Alex, Anna, Branigan, Massey, and Major Lukin. Major Lukin, the KGB’s most deadly man-hunter, is given the task to search for and find Slanksi and Anna before they kill Stalin. Alex and Anna both go through training and face various setbacks as the Soviets begin to get wind of a mission to strike the heart of Russia. The second Alex and Anna land in the Soviet Union Lukin is scouring the countryside looking for them. Back on the home-front the U.S. knows the Soviets know they are planning on attempting to assassinate Stalin, and make plans to stop Anna and Alex. Alex and Anna finally make it to their destination, Moscow but not without difficulties, skirmishes, and separations. Once there they both are met with certain surprises they never thought could be imaginable. The bond between family will never be broken to the end. You will be thoroughly captivated by author Glenn Meade’s fast past and extremely vivid story telling abilities.

I honesty didn’t know any of the people from the Cold War. I didn’t expect people from the CIA to be part of this war. That was pretty cool. Also, this was fun to read. I didn’t know anything about the U.S.S.R.’s hydrogen bomb program either. I read more about it and learned much more. http://atomicheritage.org/history/soviet-hydrogen-bomb-program This website was a good source to learn more about U.S.S.R.’s hydrogen bomb.
