Being a young mother means sacrificing yourself for your child. Being a mom you will have a lot of emotions mostly, Low self-esteem, feelings of regret, difficulty finishing school, financial and emotional burdens and sudden increase in major responsibilities. Raising 1 child for its first year costs about 10,000 dollars. Are you ready for that? I wasn’t.
But its not impossible, you have help!
Charities for single mothers, food stamps program, WIC, Food Pantry, and temporary assistants for needy families. Charities for single mothers help find out which non-profit organizations are doing the most good for single mothers. Also, how you can get involved or receive help.
SNAP (food stamps) helps with buying food for you and your children. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program give you a certain amount of money every first of the month for groceries.
Government assistance can be hard to get. Many single parents earn too much to receive benefits such as food stamps, and earn too little to get by each month.
WIC is a program available to low-income woman and their children. WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC may be able to help you with food costs. Food banks and food pantries provide free or reduced priced food items for families.
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) is a combination of financial assistance programs, such as food stamps, and work opportunities for low-income families. TANF is another name for welfare.
YOU CAN DO IT!

Do you know how to get TANF? or food stamps? because I’m in the same situation–young mother, no job, and just a little bit of child support from her dad. I need these things to help my daughter out and myself.
