Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition that causes fatigue and pain in muscle tendons and ligaments. Tendons are connective tissue that is not specialized. It is the collagen that attaches the muscles to the bones. A ligament is a stretchy connective tissue between the bones making a joint. It also causes sensitivity in particular areas of the body, especially around the shoulder blades, the upper back, and at the base of the skull. Often, the symptoms of Fibromyalgia include stiffness as well as pain.
There are many problems and difficulties for a person with Fibromyalgia. It is hard to practice or play sports, go to work or workout. This is because the body has widespread constant pain in the muscles and joints. You also have sleep problems and chronic daytime fatigue. If you have Fibromyalgia you may also have anxiety or depression.
There is no cure for Fibromyalgia, but there are things you can do to make it better. There are a standard treatments for fibromyalgia that includes taking painkillers, antidepressants, and antiseizure drugs. These can help reduce symptoms like pain, fatigue, and insomnia. But if you do not want to take mediation, there are also natural treatment. These include doing yoga, meditation, tai chi. You can also do manual lymph drainage therapy.
