Here are some activities taking place in DC throughout November.
On November 5th, Arlingtons Julia Hales will perform the acoustic version of her electronic music at the Smithsonian American Arts Meuseum. The show will start with a staff lecture about one of Julia Hales favorite pieces at the foundation then lead into her preformance. The Smithsonian American Arts Meuseum is located on Eighth and F street NW, and this event begins at 5:30

It is interesting to me that these events are sponsored by government funded institutions like the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress. This is public education in the arts and it is good to see that it is valued.
