The Preamble is the introductory part of the Constitution where it is stating its purpose, aim, and justification. The Preamble includes the guiding principles which starts off with ” We the people”. The starting phrase makes what will come next clear; it is telling us as President Abraham Lincoln told us in the November 19th, 1863 Gettysburg Address that this document is created of the people, by the people, for the people. We the people is not just a phrase that starts off the constitution, it is the phrase that is going to live with us throughout American history as long as we are following the constitution concept. We have been living out “we the people” in trying to form a more “perfect union” since the Constitution was ratified in 1789.
Forming a perfect union has been something we as a nation have been working on since the beginning, and we are still working on it. Being united in such a big nation when we are all so different and from different places; is not an easy thing to do. Equality and justice is what everybody looks for anywhere. It is the protection of human rights and the United States of America is the place people attend from all around the world because that is what we are known for; a untied democratic nation that protects human rights.
Is it really that way though or is it just a reputation we have created fro our
selves? No matter how united we are, there will always be some differences between each one of us; because we are all different. The most important part is to make sure that we treat each other equally, because at the end of the day we all came from the same place and are going to the same one as well; so why make it harder than what it already is.
