Redskins Update
The Redskins just etched their 7th win of the season against the Jaguars moving to 7-7 snapping a 4 game losing streak. Earlier in the season the Redskins looked comfortable atop the NFC East with a two game lead. Obviously that isn’t the case anymore due to the terrible luck of the Washington Redskins.
New Quarterback and leader, Alex Smith, was able to leave the hospital for the first time this weekend since his gruesome injury. He looks to quietly recover at home. However due to major complications with infections after his initial surgery, there is a chance that he never plays another down of football again. The situation is bigger than football but it would be a brutal blow to the Redskins for next year.
In all the darkness surrounding the Redskins on and off the field. The Redskins were looking to go 7-2 at one point, having the best record personal record since 2002. The Redskins also had a top 5 defense where the new rookie D-Line is making an impact. D.J Swearinger is having himself a pro bowl season as well has 33 year old soon to be first ballot hall of fame Adrian Peterson.
I personally think Jay Gruden and Bruce Allen need to get fired and should have been fired a long time ago. I also highly recommend Dan Synder sells the Redskins so that a new owner who is actually competent at hiring people that have a hunger to win comes in. Jay Gruden is soft off the field and during games. He has completely lost the locker room and any respect of hard to reach players. The Redskins might honestly be one of the worst run sports franchises across all of sports with the front office that we have. Change needs to come in order to succeed.
