This year there have been many sharks attacks in Florida but none of them have been serious. Until Sunday when a 10-years-old boy was attacked by a bull shark in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The boy was rescued after the lifeguards saw him struggling in the water and took him to the shore and provided emergency care. The boy was immediately transported to a trauma hospital in Orlando because the boy suffered a severe bite on his calf.
shark bit him, Brevard County, Florida, Ocean Rescue Assistant Chief Eisen Witcher told CNN. “The boy suffered a severe bite on his calf and was flown to a trauma hospital in Orlando due to the severity of the injury,” Witcher said.
I think that shark attack will continue no matter what because the government can not prohibited people from swimming there. Also if people continue over fishing the shark natural food source, the sharks will be getting more close to the beach and attacks will be more often than normal.
