After the multiple attacks committed by ISIS in various countries, Muslims around the world have been targeted and abused, being put to blame for the attacks. One little boy from Texas decided that he wanted to help when a mosque in his hometown was vandalized. Feces had been smeared all over the sidewalks of the Islamic Center and pages of the holy book of Islam, the Quran, were ripped out and scattered throughout the vicinity. The little boy had the idea of emptying out his piggy bank to donate a total of 20 dollars in coins to the Islamic Center’s foundation.

The boy’s mother hoped that it would be a teaching experience for him, explaining to him how all faiths are important. The vandalism is now being investigated as a hate crime. I think it is completely ignorant and absurd for people to blame a whole religion and it’s people for the crimes of a group of people. Muslims have been suffering from hate crimes everywhere since the events on 9/11/2001. I ask myself this question every time I see a whole race or religion being wrongly punished for the actions of one person or group: How is it possible to fight hate and terrorism with more hate and terrorism? One cannot fight violence with violence, it’s simply not logical.

this is not right, I think every religion has bad and good in it but you cant just judge the religion on something that people think it is
