A gunman opened fire inside a rural Texas church on November 5th, 2017. He killed more than two dozen people. This is the largest mass shooting in the history of the state.

Twenty-six people were killed during the shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs. There was investigation about why that particular place was chosen.

This massacre in Sutherland Springs is the deadliest ever at a house of worship in the United States.

In addition to the twenty-six people who died, at least 19 people are hospitalized.

The shooter was later found dead, identified as Devin Patrick Kelly (26). He was a former member of the Air Force, confirmed that Kelley was court-martialed in 2012 on two charges of assaulting his spouse and their child. He was confined for a year and reduced in a rank to airman basic E-1 before his charge.

Federals say that the motive for the shooting is unclear.

A local resident confronted the gunman after the shooting began grabbed his rifle and engaged that suspect.

The gunman dropped the rifle and then fled with the resident, identified as Johnnie Langendorff.

Once again, this article can symbolize the dangers of Amendment II, and how we seriously need more background checks regarding individuals (specifically men) and their ability to own a gun.

What do you think about Amendment II? Should it be revised? How would you help the people of Texas? Would you comfort the families who have lost someone to this massacre? I know I would. Bless the innocent lives that were take from this awful tragedy.
