Vegetarianism is very beneficial to the human body. I’m glad that Vegetarians have a lower risk of getting diabetes or other diseases! I think that the citizens of America do tend to eat too much meat. I think it’d be beneficial if we all lowered our meat intake.
– I did not know that animal meat can prevent getting heart disease.
– It was interesting reading that Vegetarians have low risk of getting diabetes
– My question for the vegetarians would be “what would happen if you guys do eat non-vegetarian food?”
First of all, most people decide to go vegetarian simply because they believe that it is wrong to eat another living being. Therefore, if a vegetarian suddenly decided to eat meat again, he or she would go against previously-followed morals. The reason for going back to a non-vegetarian diet is often due to a lack of nutrients. However, this does not mean that being a vegetarian is unhealthy; it is quite the opposite, as we have seen in the slideshow. Lacking in nutrients occurs only because one does not know any alternative sources. In reality, though, there are plenty of them! I suggest to educate yourself better before you choose to “go back” because you do not need meat to function.
