WHAT IS THE EYE PROGRAM? The mission of the EYE program is to help young workers gain the experience, confidence, and skills needed to be successful in the workforce. Employment Specialists recruit, screen and match young adults with summer internship opportunities in the private sector and other area businesses. The SkillSource Group, Inc., in coordination with Fairfax County Department of Family Services, has successfully implemented this employer-driven, summer employment initiative since 2006

Professional growth through job training sessions throughout the summer. How long will the internship last? The EYE program runs from June through August 2014. The length of each internship varies but may last up to eight weeks.
