    Sometimes it amazes me the lack of care and safety for workers during the time period. I agree that it needed to happen for factory workers to get the attention and reform that they needed. Conditions nearly as bad exist in the countries where many of our clothes are made. If we consider our past, and compare it to factories in other counties, than we should start buying American made clothing.

    I think this unfortunate event was a wake up call for the industry workers. Something like this was bound to happen because they didn’t value the safety of the workers. So they took it as a lesson and finally made some well needed changes.
