200,000 people have applied to a one way mission to Mars according to the Mars One Foundation. The criteria you need to apply includes being adaptable, a team player, 18 years of age, and resourceful. The down side of going would be no trees, no oceans, no parks, no nothing. And the worst part of all, you wont be coming back home!
The mission is only a one way trip, Mars One says.
Mars One will pick groups of “pioneers”, as Mars One is calling these groups. These pioneers will be isolated from the world and put through tough training, and tight areas to prepare them for the mission in 2025.

i am sure that not for everybody not coming back home is the worst part. This is the best opportunity for those people who always said ” i want to disappear from this planet” This a huge decision but if would have the opportunity to go i would take it. Are these people getting pay or their families?
