Early on Tuesday morning Alicia Denice Brown walked into a casino in Hanover, Maryland. She parked her car and entered the casino like any normal person would. The only thing different about her is that she had a 3 year old baby inside her car, while it was very cold outside. Anne Arundel County Police were called to the casino around 6:30 p.m.  Casino security was on a normal check of the parking garage when they noticed a child around three years old crying in a parked car on the fourth level. The paramedics were called to the casino because of the child’s age and the cold she was exposed too. Even though the child was exposed to the cold for a long period of time, she was in good health. The law states that you can’t harm little children and you have to keep them safe at all times. Ms. Brown did both with just this one action. She harmed the baby because of the freezing temperatures she exposed her too. This women is being charged with various crimes such as child abuse and neglect of a minor.
