Two convicted killers escape a maximum security prison in upstate New York. ” Richard Matt, 49, and David Sweat, 35, were discovered missing from their cells Saturday morning during a “standing count” of inmates at the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York, state police said.

The FBI is also among the some 250 law enforcement officials involved in the manhunt for these two who are considered highly dangerous.

How they obtained the tools that assisted them in their escape is in question. These two were the first to escape from this prisons 170 year history.

Obviously the problem is two dangerous people are now at large and the solution is alert the general public and have all eyes open to bring them back to prison.

I believe if the number of people incarcerated for lesser crimes was reduced the ration of guards to prisoners would change and the less likely the truly bad guys like these two will have to escape.
