Diplomacy in the Classroom

The November 4th video conference with Plymtock, England was exciting.  It was nerve racking to talk to other people that I have never met before and tell them a little bit of my story.  The conversation went well, but I feel like we didn’t really get too in depth on any topic. I am looking forward to another one where we can ask more in depth questions.

I was curious about the violence rate over there compared to here in the US.  I was also curious if they happen to be following the U.S. Presidential election that is coming up in November of 2016. What are their thoughts on Donald Trump running?   It would be interesting to hear what they have to say about us having a black president.

Overall I think that when it comes to bullying, violence, and religion we all understood and were on the same page. I really enjoyed the conference and would want to do it again very soon!

Here is a recording of the conference that will be available for viewing until the end of the month: https://tonyblairfaithfoundation.box.com/s/kqynbqklj3bke0l8d00cnfn0ozu28h18
