A United Airlines flight made a U-turn after a passenger ran toward the cockpit screaming “jihad, jihad,” It was so terrifying if the passenger actually has connection to the terrorists. His mental state was unknown and there was no weapons found when the passenger was subdued. His words were alarming and it reminded about 9/11 when four U.S. commercial airliners were hijack. It started when United Flight 1074 took off around 10:15 p.m. Monday from Dulles International Airport in suburban Washington. The Boeing 737 was taking 33 passenger and six crew members to Denver but unfortunately they had to turn back around because the man was failing to comply to crew instruction.
“He ran forward towards the cockpit, and he is being restrained by passengers,” one of the pilots said. “The cockpit is secure, and we would just like to return to the airport and have the authorities meet him.”
Footage on a cell phone shows the man faces bruised and was being held down by other passenger. The plane finally landed back at Dulles at 10:40 pm. The airport police took the man and airport fighter-EMTs transported him to a nearby hospital. The man has not been arrested or charged with a crime.
By then, the other passengers — none of whom was injured — had been rebooked on new Denver-bound flights. Some opted to take the first flight to Colorado on Tuesday, while others chose to leave later, according to Punzenberger, the United spokesman.
In My Opinion, I feel like he should be arrested for intent of hijacking the Boeing 737 and for him saying hes connected to a terrorist. How are you going to try to do something like that, when it scared the whole United States when 9/11 happened. As Americans we aren’t scared of terrorist, we will fight back stronger and braver then you. You deserve the bruises you have on your face and i feel the FBI should question what he intended to do, why, and how dumb he is. Till this day what hapeen during 9/11 will not happen again. Rest In Peace to the firefighters, civilians in the twin towers and on the plane, EMTs, and soldiers that died for fighting in war because of the terrorist.

This kind of people just killing name of the Muslims and the other people thinks all the Muslims are terrorist which is not funny. They thinks they do their best for their religion but they makes it worst. you dont even know if that people are the real Muslims.

After 9/11 and the heightened airport security brought on by that day, I would think it is almost now impossible to actually hijack a plane. Because he had now weapons on him, I question whether or not he actually planned to follow through with the act. This man could have easily just been putting on an act, or was just hungry for attention. Either way, I’m sure our government will be keeping a close eye on this man.
