The Paris Climate Agreement is

The Paris Climate Agreement is a historic treaty created in 2015 in Paris,  France.  It is a promise by World Governments to change the way they see the World and the way global citizens act with responsibility.   The protection of world resources and world climate is a protection of human rights.  The Climate agreement is created as an international organization and action to help solve problems caused by climate change.   Climate change is a change in temperature and a change in weather patterns over time.  The global temperature is going up.  Storms are getting bigger and wetter with more damage and more flooding.  The global ice caps are melting over time and the sea level is rising.

The Paris Climate Agreement is good because the climate is changing and people must act .    The agreement is made between the leaders of world governments.

The Paris Agreement is a landmark international accord that was adopted by nearly every nation in 2015 to address climate change and its negative impacts. The agreement aims to substantially reduce global greenhouse gas emissions in an effort to limit the global temperature increase in this century to 2 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels, while pursuing the means to limit the increase to 1.5 degrees. The agreement includes commitments from all major emitting countries to cut their climate pollution and to strengthen those commitments over time. The pact provides a pathway for developed nations to assist developing nations in their climate mitigation and adaptation efforts, and it creates a framework for the transparent monitoring, reporting, and ratcheting up of countries’ individual and collective climate goals.

The problems with the Climate are caused by

The problems with the climate are caused by bad decisions of humans who have bad habits of consumption of resources that cause pollution in the air.  The temperature is increasing because of the increase in CO2 gas production.  The problems are caused by human activities because when we burn fossil fuels these gases affect the atmosphere, for example When we drive a car, motorcycle and airplane. And another problem is trash. All people drop off trash in the ocean and this is not good for animals.  The country that makes the most fossil fuels and trash is China.

The increase in the global temperature of the planet is a very serious problem. They are caused by water vapor mixing with the gases expelled  and becoming a blanket to trap heat in the Earth’s atmosphere.

The country that makes the most fossil fuels and trash is China.  Those countries that cause the biggest problem have the biggest responsibility to act.  Countries with more money also have more consumption.  These wealthy countries have the biggest negative effect on poor countries so they also have a bigger responsibility to act and help.

The climate is changing during this time because of the pollution. We as humans like to consume a lot of products for our living but, we don’t think about the problems that we are generating by using these resources. I think we should take a moment and think about what we can do to solve this problem.  Metacognition of the problem is the beginning of the solution.- Leo

Luis the problem is caused because we the people need to take care of our mother nature.  A lot of pollution,  a lot of garbage on the streets and in the seas due to one use consumption without recycling resources.   We also contaminate, for example, we might smoke but our cities also smoke.  The solution for that is to have more responsibility to be clean  with our natural mother.https://www.nrdc.org/stories/paris-climate-agreement-everything-you-need-know

The solutions to these problems include

How do governments and citizens act?

What is the UNITED NATIONS?

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). It’s now five years on, and we have more work than ever to do. These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.    https://www.globalgoals.org/

The solutions to these problems include  the agreement and also the actions of world governments and world citizens.  We don’t have another planet to live with.  The change starts with everyone acting.  People will not act unless they know the problem.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals help encourage action by individuals, groups, communities, countries and the world together.   A world problem like this requires cooperation.  Maybe the most important goal to solve this problem is education.  Here is a list of Global Goals that will help. Goal 7, Goal 11, Goal 12, Goal 13, Goal 17  Most Important Goal 4

Some actions for solutions include:  1) planting more trees to consume more CO2 and produce more clean air O2   2) Reduce the use of fossil fuels like oil and gasoline and use more clean energy.  3) use bicycles instead of motorcycles    4) use electric cars   5) walk instead of drive 6) Speak with the people about the change of climate.

We need to  understand the problems and also know what we can do to reduce the pollution on our planet. Here are three examples of what we can do to help our planet to keep it away from pollution.

1 Switch off the lights.

2 Unplug Electronics not in use.

3 Do full loads of cold laundry.

-Cristian

The solutions are to use a bicycle, walk and eat more vegetables instead of meat. We can plant more trees because this produces more carbon and it reduces climate change. And then we can practice Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. This helps to deduct the garbage in the world.
