Year Up Internship Program Recruits at Mountain View on December 4th!

Mountain View students interested in a career in the computer technology have access to a great opportunity to pursue their dreams. A recruiter from Year Up will come to Mountain View on Friday, December 4th during 2nd period to meet students and tell them about this prestigious program. Year Up is a nation-wide internship program in Information Technology and Cyber Security that President Obama himself visited and highlighted as an innovative post-secondary opportunity.
While entrance to Year Up is competitive, three Mountain View alumni have already successfully completed the program. Year Up is looking high school graduates, ages 18-24, with the desire to work hard and develop the professional skills to succeed in the IT field. The program has many benefits, including:
- A monthly stipend of up to $600
- The chance to earn up to 30 college credits in IT, cybersecurity, and other professional skills
- A 6-month internship in IT to build your resume and network in your chosen field
