The 2020 Presidential Election; Why Mayor Pete?
The 2020 Presidential election is Tuesday November 4, nine months from now. There are a lot of candidates that are running for the office of President in our nations Executive branch. It started with 28 Democrat candidates and 4 Republican candidates but only 11 Democrat candidates are still running right now and 3 for Republican.
Hopefully Trump would not get re-elected for President because I would like to see how another President changes all the damage that our current President has done. I’m hopeful to see how a new President changes the migration situation or if they even do something about it. It would be so nice to see some changes that would help the United States and the people that live in it.
Who is mayor Pete? Mayor Pete is 38 years old. He was born in South Bend, Ind. He is a Democrat candidate. Pete used to be part of the US Navy as an intelligence officer, a consultant of McKinsey & company and also a former Rhodes scholar. Mayor Pete was also part of two term mayors in south Bend. He decided it was time to take the opportunity and chose not to run for re-election and left the Mayor’s office to run for President. This year he has decided to become a Democrat candidate on the National stage because he wants to make better changes that would help the entire United States and the World. In addition to accepting a status of global citizenship through human rights he also wants to expand the size of the supreme court and he wants to work with stopping climate change.

Something that I really like about mayor Pete so far it’s that he seems not to be discriminating against immigrants. He doesn’t think immigrants are a major problem in the United States because he says “The biggest crisis around immigration today is the inhumanity of this administration’s policies.” I really think that our next president should have these thoughts because this might bring a lot of good opportunities for immigrants.
Where can you go to register to vote and how?
You need a voter paper registration that you can easily get from a DMV, post offices, public libraries, government offices or also request one from your county elections office. To register you need to have an ID, social security and also be a resident and citizen of the United States. If you lie and give false information in your voter application you would be facing a felony.

I like what you wrote here. Below are my thoughts on the same topic. The future is uncertain but I’m hopeful for change.
The Process of electing our president is a long and eventful one. The party must hold a convention to see which candidates are going to run. Then there’s the primary election to select a candidate. Finally, the general election is selecting our president.
This 2020 election is in 9 months, on November 3rd. There are currently 11 Democrats and three Republicans running, 17 democrats and one republican that have suspended their campaign, and 11 democrats and one republican have dropped out. President Trump will be running again and it’s most likely that he’s the main candidate for the republicans even though he has two other challengers.
Who is mayor Pete? Pete Buttigieg is the youngest candidate in the 2020 election, born in South Bend, Indiana, Pete was the mayor of this town. He did not run for reelection, he instead decided to go straight to the white house. A couple of issues Pete generalizes in his campaign is a generational change and is trying to increase the number of seats in the senate. I think Mayor Pete is one of the best candidates in the 2020 election, the 38-year-old shows promise and a change from the current situation.
