I think for some crimes once your proven guilty execution is justified. I also think that while its important to be sure to not kill an innocent man, we also need to speed the process for a couple reasons. Iv read about people arrested and charged at 18-20 that weren’t executed for 30 years, after thirty years their probably a very different person. Also for 30 years their are being fed, clothed, housed, etc. by the government which, if your willing to do that why condemn them to execution in the first place? The point of the death penalty is to 1.) deter others from a similar crime and 2.) make sure the person cannot return to society (I.E. escaping or getting released early) But I believe that for crimes such as Corruption, Insider trading, prolicide, and others, the death penalty should be optional or essentially mandatory. Perfect world we can all hold hands and sing kumbaya after a long day of peace love and understanding. Our world we have to make tough choices.

I don’t necessarily agree or disagree with the death penalty. I do think killing people is wrong. However I think that in some very serious cases the death penalty should be implicated.
